SELFIE SLIP-UP

A YOUNG couple was left mortified after sending a selfie to parents with a bottle of lube in the photo.
Sharing the image to Twitter, the British woman — by the name of Kelsey — uploaded what looked to be a typical mirror selfie taken in a bedroom.

But the 22-year-old’s eagle-eyed dad noticed a certain bottle at the forefront of the image, which left her boyfriend, Elliot, “mortified”.
After sending the selfie to her mum, Kelsey received an unexpected response which left her and Elliot red-faced.
Kelsey's mum wrote: "Dad said the pics r lovely, nice durex bottle."
Kelsey then wrote: "It’s elliot’s knee cream!"
Which prompted her mum to shoot that down by saying "Dad zoomed in!"
The photo and text message exchange has since gone viral, racking up more than 3.8k retweets and 46k likes.
Kelsey later replied: “Ell is mortified."
The hilarious selfie blunder has prompted other Twitter users to comment on the mishap.
One person wrote: “Aw man you can’t come home from that holiday."
While another tweeted: “This is something I would do. I am mortified at the same time for them.”
