Muslim terrorists attacked the procession in Zimetenga on Monday, murdering four Christian worshipers, Paul Ouedraogo, president of the Episcopal Conference of Burkina Faso and Niger, told an assembly of bishops in the capital Ouagadougou.

A Catholic church in north-central Burkina Faso was attacked by Muslim terrorists on Sunday morning at the beginning of mass in the village of Dablo, leaving at least six worshipers, including the priest, murdered.
The terror attack is believed to have been carried out by a group of some twenty to thirty armed Muslim terrorists, according to a security source.
